Director of Digital Marketing

Monetate is seeking a high-energy Director of Digital Marketing to help develop, implement and execute marketing campaigns across all relevant channels to support the sales team and company as we grow our customer base.

This is a role for someone that has the know-how to build the strategy and the hands-on experience around digital marketing to dive in right away and build high-performing scalable programs and measurement systems. This role features high collaboration with other departments and is critical in aligning the company’s external presence with its strategic goals. In this role, you will be responsible for a marketing generated pipeline and revenue number and manage a marketing operations team member.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build global demand gen strategy and programs to support Monetate’s account-based selling structure
  • Maintain and improve recently re-launched company website.
  • Develop and execute social media strategy.
  • Support Product Marketing and Field Marketing as needed.
  • Collaborate with sales, product management, and product marketing on the development of marketing content across groups.
  • Manage and build the Department’s content library and editorial calendar to support content needed to support programs.
  • Remain informed and up to date on industry trends, knowledge, and competitive landscape to provide relevant and actionable insights into marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Passion for marketing, software and the e-commerce industry
  • 8-10 years of B2B marketing experience.
  • Experience using Marketo (other marketing automation tools like Eloqua, Pardot, etc. will be considered) and SFDC and a deep understanding of demand gen concepts, such a lead scoring, progressive profiling, triggered sends,ABM, and leads to revenue reporting.
  • Previous experience working for a SaaS company.
  • Ability to think analytically and identify trends and make recommendations based on data.
  • Experience with social media management tools (HootSuite, Sprout, Buffer, etc.) as part of a larger integrated marketing approach.
  • Proven CMS experience (Craft CMS a plus) and understanding of SEO and web metrics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong sense of urgency and project management skills to see projects through swiftly from conception through completion.
  • Experience managing a small team.
