Director of Channel Sales

We're looking for hungry, outspoken people who want to combine the best aspects of a fast-moving startup with the credibility of an established, battle-tested SAAS platform.

As a Director of Channel Sales, you are responsible for all partner-based revenue growth in North America. You’ll be part sales and part strategic deal-person, and carry a quota with unlimited commission upside.

Role can be based out of one of our offices in New York, Philadelphia or Palo Alto. You will report to the VP Sales, North America.

Responsibilities will include the following

  • Craft company partner strategy, in conjunction with Sales and Product leadership
  • Manage 50+ existing referral and reseller partners across digital marketing agencies, service partners and other marketing tech vendors
  • Structure partner deal terms and lead negotiations
  • Recruit and onboard new partners as needed to achieve quota and build ecosystem
  • Work with partners to identify and develop leads and opportunities
  • Build partner enablement structure to scale as efficiently as possible
  • Advise Product on appropriate integrations and product partnerships, helping to enable when feasible
  • Serve as resource for competitive dynamics among software and partner landscape
  • Conduct recurring meetings of partners to gather feedback for the Product team
  • Manage partner enablement resource in conjunction with Services team


  • Undergraduate degree from top school required; MBA or JD a plus
  • 7+ years professional experience in SAAS or software industry
  • Experience in investment banking, business development, sales, consulting, law or agency services
  • Track-record of revenue generation, with direct quota a plus
  • Direct experience managing channel partners, as either a partner or vendor
  • Highly structured and analytical mindset
  • Knowledge of ecommerce and/or digital marketing strategy (brand or agency)
  • Superb communication skills, both oral and written
  • Comfort with startup environment - Monetate and the industry we’re in changes a lot and the winners can roll with it
  • Ability to travel within North America 25-40% of the time
