This is a dynamic role that requires part sales person, part product management and part engineer - requiring you to work across several facets of our company. No two days are the same, at a company that has become a true market leader while maintaining a startup culture. Up to 20% travel is expected. You will:

  • Be on the front lines of customer communication, providing demonstrations of our product, strategizing on the most relevant use cases, knowing everything there is to know about our software and building technical integrations when needed
  • Work closely with our Sales Directors and Client Success Managers, and they’ll be relying on you for many aspects of the sales process
  • Assist in the creation of custom demonstrations and fill out technical statements of work, such as responses to RFPs
  • Prepare and provide client-facing language for follow-up calls and documentation.
  • Participate in weekly Sales Team meetings and interact with Product Engineering to stay up to date on current technical concepts on future product enhancements


  • 5+ years or prior experience selling E-Commerce, Marketing and Merchandising tools to enterprise-level business and technical audiences or prior experience "delivering" technology services and strategy in the digital marketing space
  • Track-record of revenue generation, with direct quota a plus
  • Passionate and confident public speaker that is able to convey complex concepts to both business and technical audiences
  • Highly structured and analytical mindset; strong business acumen and ability to situationally develop unique business value
  • An understanding and ability to speak with confidence to web design's associated languages and protocols - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and more
  • Ability to think abstractly and whiteboard on the fly, detailing use cases that are most relevant to client
  • Strong attention to detail, both quantitative and qualitative
  • A strong desire to teach new clients about the platform and be proactive with questions and commentary to learn what the client cares about
  • Must have a constant willingness to adapt as Monetate, and the industry we are in, changes a lot.
  • Bachelor’s degree
